What should I bring to an event?
Paperwork
- printed copy of the supps and bulletins from the event's website
- rulebook and rule bulletins (see Where can I get a copy of the rules?)
- drivers license
- an up-to-date/unexpired driver's license and competition license
- Make sure the driver brings:
- an up-to-date/unexpired driver's license and competition license
- up-to-date title/registration/insurance for the rally car
- Make sure the crew or responsible person brings:
- up-to-date title/registration/insurance for the service vehicle
- If you bring your own car, bring its insurance/title/registration paperwork just in case it gets commandeered for the service crew or otherwise used during the event
Safety Equipment
- Rally Computer (see What computers are available?)
- Rally Computer's manual (see Where can I find manuals for my rally computer?)
- helmet
- HNR
- Firesuit
Clothing and Miscellaneous
- Weather-appropriate gear - hat, coat, rain gear, mosquito spray, suntan lotion, etc.
- Gloves - for when it's cold AND for changing tires (tires are hot during a stage!)
- cotton or non-flammable socks, t-shirt, underwear (non-meltable)
Other Gear and supplies
- Flashlight
- spare batteries for flashlight
- spare bateries for the intercom (if it needs them)
- Pens/pencils/marking devices
- Good watch or two (see What watch should I have?)
- Nylon bag or briefcase (something tough that can be put at your feet or behind your seat)
- Baggies (for stuff, or to puke into - your choice)
- Water
